The following is an abstract for the Carson Road Website of a longer, documented history of the land which made possible the creation, in 2001, of Carson Road Woods by Delaware and Raritan Greenway, with help and contributions from neighbors and other, more distant, supporters of land preservation.

The long and winding road toward the purchase of the Carson Road Woods came to an end last week, with the passing of a check from Mayor Pam Mount to landowners G. Rieder & Sons of South Brunswick.
